Fraction Action is the enhanced math theme which will be utilized across the curriculum this year. Each month we will share a fraction puzzle to complete. Here are a couple of problems:

1. Brianna takes visitors on tours of the Children's Museum on Saturdays. Each tour is five-sixths of an hour long. She conducts three tours a day. How much time does Brianna spend giving tours each day?

2. Kevin had seven gallons of water in the refrigerator. Of those, two and one-fourth gallons were spring water and one and one-fourth gallons were filtered water. How many gallons of water were neither spring or filtered?
